You’re right, he never said the word “Trump”. Toward the end of the interview (not shown), after seemingly to be on the same page with “the nominee”, he made a point to disagree with Trump on “conservative principles”. Ryan is a fence-sitting, self serving, BSer, and his innocent baby blue eyes are disturbing.
I would say “yes”. Words are all code now. Agenda driven.
