This is a good thing, and here’s why. The Supreme Court found that women could be exempt from draft registration because they were treated differently by the military and were barred from serving in the ground gaining combat arms (Infantry, Armor, etc.). Now that the Administration has foolishly opened all of military to women in spite of manifest physical differences between women and men, exemption of women from the draft is Unconstitutional. Period.
Two things are likely to occur from this. One, the draft will be eliminated, although it can certainly be reinstated if necessary in the future. Second, this insanity of pretending that women can successfully function in roles that require male bodies will go away. This is good.
The Democrats will insist that women continue to serve in infantry and armor roles and they will support draft registration for women. The Republicans can use this Democrat position against them to win more votes. Unfortunately, they will probably screw up this opportunity.
We deserve to be conquered by a more vibrant civilization.
