I continue to be amazed that nobody has shot them, or plowed through one of their funeral protests in an F-350 at full speed.
The stunts they pull in front of emotional people at funerals.... lets just say if I was on the jury of a bereaved parent who attacked, I’d vote not guilty.

And I continue to be amazed that nobody has sued them for every cent they have. Any jury, anywhere, would certainly rule against these Westboro people.

I work in Topeka (home base of Phelps). My old boss told me that many years ago (before they protested funerals and just had the standard sidewalk protests), a woman did plow into them. He said she got off with a slap on the wrist, claiming it was an accident.

Lately I’ve noticed that they have kids at the protests, holding signs...sort of human shields to prevent anybody from trying to hurt them. They are also rumored to be filming the protests continuously, itching to sue anyone who may harm them.

Don’t give up hope. Every new outrage is another opportunity for them to finally get what’s coming to them. I will sit back and enjoy a drink and a hearty laugh if somebody ever does whack them.
