2. His Father then reached out to groups such as CAIR or others for help.
3. Someone from one or more of these groups put pressure on either the DOJ and even the White House to have the investigation dropped?

I got into it with some idiotic woman on Facebook tonight. She was trying to defend some moronic article on salon that says the terror attacks are not due to a Muslim problem but toxic masculinity. I just could not let it pass. Of course as soon as I stated that we have a Muslim problem I became a discriminatory hater. It never fails.

The Terrorist killer worked for a major Security firm. G4S based in London and with operations all over the world.
This Company and/or its affiliates or companies they have acquired have received over 3.4 BILLION dollars in the form of US Gov’t contracts since 2008.
According to Open Secrets G4S’s political contributions seem slightly tipped to Republicans and not significant.
Since they (G4S) is such a huge company with over 600,000 employees around the world I’m not going to pick on them having US Gov’t contracts or the problems they have had over the years.
What I will question is how did they even hire this killer in the first place?
How did they keep him employed even during an FBI investigation as a potential terrorist?
Did his father intervene on his sons behalf?
How many other G4S employees are on or have been on the FBI’s terrorist watch list?
Is it possible the Father was trying to use his idiot son to plan a much bigger attack?
