Armchair warrior here... No one thought to attack in any way shape or form (from back with object)? There were over 300 people there. Were they all cowards?

And to the “they were not expecting and attack”. Todd Beamer was probably not expecting an attack either.

One other thing... no matter how hard the media and the Imposter-In-Chief claim that this was “a confused gay man”, the Islam factor just keeps rearing it’s demonic head and only 1/4 of us are listening.

"...Armchair warrior here..."

Clearly.

"...No one thought to attack in any way shape or form (from back with object)? There were over 300 people there. Were they all cowards?..."

It was dark. Victims had been drinking. There was loud music and bright flashing lights. There apparently was only a single functioning door...that the murderous terrorist gunman (who had cased the place for months) was guarding.

"... Todd Beamer was probably not expecting an attack either..."

Poor comparison. September 11th airplane passengers likely thought it was a plain-vanilla hijacking and they would be flown to Cuba or wherever for negotiations.

Todd Beamer and the other heroes of Flight# 93 learned about the other flights being suicide missions and THAT is the crucial information they (THANKFULLY) had to attack with food service carts, belts, and pots of boiling water in an attempt to regain control of the aircraft.

Most people aren’t looking at the actual event. Alcohol and drugs played a significant role in the response. The attack began at last call, and I imagine many of the victims were well above the legal limit. Those with presence of mind and physical ability probably ran out first as anyone with sense would.

Many of those who were taken hostage were probably pretty inebriated. While a person will “sober up” from stress, it’s more akin to a coffee-stimulated drunk than true sobriety. Full physical capability isn’t instantaneous. Many were also trying to render aid to the wounded.

It does appear there was some window of opportunity, but no one can say with certainty and everyone should refrain from second-guessing every action or inaction on the part of the victims or police.
