Someone posted (on another thread about this MP) that the tactic in Spain, just before elections, worked. Shut down the opposition.
Wasn’t that the terrible terror attack on the train station? Problem was that the PM lied about the attack and tried to pin it on the Basques, when it was obvious that it was Islamic terrorists. He lost and Spain pulled out of Iraq.
(Maybe it was another incident that I don’t remember.)
