I’m not sure about this.

The country back then was made up of do-ers, not takers.
Citizens were much more moral and honest.
There were factories that produced goods used in our own country, and quality was superior.

Today we are largely a nation of dependent, ungodly, drugged up, dumbed down, immoral “takers” who look to gov’t to “help” them.

We import food, gas, and daily living items. Who makes our defense equipment? Our infrastructure is 3rd world. Our youth are angry and for the most part, stupid, brainwashed, and have their heads stuck in down position, looking at their “smart” phones every two minutes.
