It is not a new trend.
Let's start with this...
A book written in 2004, I had not heard of before, until someone here mentioned it about a week ago. It joins the other 15 Hillary books written since the 90s; All factual, hence not flattering. Not a single of those books have been challenged in court.
A book where Free Republic shines, and plays a major role. In fact, Jim Robinson wrote the foreword.
Following this post I will provide a list of the book's Table of Contents.
I should add that, as much as I like Amazon and purchase regularly, Amazon has made a conscious effort not to offend Hillary, and a book's usual reader comments are hidden. However, using Google with the book's title WILL allow you access to it's reader comments, including the excellent, lengthy summary, including it's Table of Contents.
Incidentally, in the comments is a Hillary operative with the name DCdave, who I suspect is still here in FR under another name. He must be ferreted out and banned for life. His comment are totally dismissive of the book.
Nice try a*****e!
Incidentally, in addition to learning an important part of the history of the American decline and the takeover of the Clinton Criminal Enterprises/shadow government, this is the best history of the blogosphere that I have ever read.
"Obviously, anyone with a critical intellect can investigate the validity of the two story lines. Here is a recap of the book so you have some keywords:
Foreword by our Fearless Leader, Jim Robinson
Introduction: A definition of the term 'conspiracy'
"Chapter 1: An example of Hillary Spin: Viacom erases boos, replaces it with cheers and rebroadcasts to millions.
"Chapter 2: Hillary's desire to censor Internet, Hillary's enforcers, use of FBI files to blackmail opponents.
"Chapter 3: Andrew Sullivan fired from print magazine for 'Ice Queen/Drag Queen' Hillary story, sets up shop on Internet.
"Chapter 4: A tale of two leftists, Hillary and David Horowitz. One came to his senses, but it cost him his cushy lifestyle.
"Chapter 5: How the news junkies started to collaborate via Usenet groups.
"Chapter 6: Chris Ruddy, former schoolteacher, scoops NYT on Vince Foster and loses newspaper job, joins Internet.
"Chapter 7: Hillary goes on the attack with the "Communication Stream of Conspiracy Commerce", but Hillary hit man, Weiss wakes up and leaks document.
"Chapter 8: The rise of Matt Drudge.
"Chapter 9: The Internet's fact checking role comes of age with ChinaGate and Ron Brown's murder.
"Chapter 10: Why conservatives have all the fun.
Chapter 11: Climax: the Clinton Whitehouse's attempt to shut down Drudge with $145 million lawsuit.
"Chapter 12: Jim Robinson, the rise of FreeRepublic and how Freepers kept Gore from stealing the 2000 election.
"If you have the ability to step back and try to gain an objective view of the battle between Internet dissenters and the Clintons, consider the issues in terms of the mass-marketing industry that powers broadcast networks like Viacom (CBS), Disney (ABC) and GE (NBC)."
