Is the University of Wisconsin-Madison running the risk of having minority students viewed as being coddled and overprotected from seemingly minor or unintentional slights?
gotprivilegeIs it creating an environment where the slightest statement or action could provoke a finger-pointing witch hunt for students who are accused of insensitivity?
Is it encouraging minority students to become hyper-sensitive to the point where people of different skin colors are afraid to associate openly and freely, without having their speech constantly monitored for words that might upset someone?
The university has announced that it will require about 1,000 incoming students to participate in cultural competency training this fall, at a cost ranging between $150,000 and $200,000, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

Bravo ! Sir. I’ve posted a few times before on similar threads that as Freepers we should be the skunks at the liberal garden partys, if doing so won’t result in harm to one’s carer. In my case, at 64 years of age I am eligible to audit any college class I want to in the state of Ohio and I think it would be great fun to educamate the educators. I think any Freeper would do the cause proud.
