He then became a super devout muslim.
He then feared for what he was, and to atone to allah, murdered a bunch of gays to cross out his own gay sins.
This is the muslim mind at work. Its a religion of works and allah is socdemanding you never know if you have done enough to be spared hell. The scales may tip your way, but catch allah on a bad day and it wont matter, his whim could cancel that out and send you to hell anyway.
I would guess that his being in a religion like that would cause him a conflict that he could not address except through further wickedness. No mercy, unlike Christianity.

Spot on. Major Hassan was of the same ilk. Hassan’s trial was delayed so that in case his homosexuality became an issue at the trial ( the prosecutors were no doubt ordered not to raise it), it would not interfere with Obama’s plans to promote homosexuality in the military.
