And I didn’t have any conservative talk radio (live) to turn to until 10pm (reruns weren’t going to discuss this matter).
It wasn’t validation that I sought, it as a basic discussion of the facts and no finger pointing at Christians, “all believers in fiction of god and magic”, and “homophobic haters”.
If he’d shot up a strip joint instead of a meatmarket bar, would there have been the same solidarity or would some Americans saying “well they shouldn’t have been in there in the first place”?
Recall that the public was divided as to whether the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists “brought the attack upon themselves” (didn’t our president take that view???).

Don’t know about that. I worked with a girl who liked women and lived with one. She was raised in the south, came from a military family, had a very high income and hated liberals. If you wanted to get her going, just mention affirmative action, Hillary Clinton, or anything along those lines. It would be a mistake to assume there aren’t conservatives among gays. If we’re going to demand that conservatives pass a litmus test on every single issue under the sun we’re not much smarter than liberals.
