I am sick and tired of half-staff for every damn incident that ever happens here.

Also has become standard in our state. Any incident in MD - half-staff.

My God, do they never stop dishonoring our flag/country by this perpetual grief - IOW, weakness? We’re perpetually looking like we’re prostrate. Might as well dip it at the Olympics, too.

Another thing that started with 9/11 and just won’t let go.

I agree with you 100%.

There is something unhealthy, corrosive and weak about it, this constant state of mourning. I get the distinct impression that our government wants us to walk around in a perpetual state of mourning.

I simply won’t do it.
