Only for the ignorant. It's a case of a proven failure against a total unknown. I'd say the unknown has the advantage.

Some actually did benefit but most were looking at long range possibilities of a big payoff. Small town mayors and councilmen, guilty of this same graft and crooked dealing are sent to prison. The Clintons brazenly wave this windfall money for speaking engagements in our faces and the media looks the other way.
They are rotten to the core. Always have been!
