A militant group, called Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki or Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement has reportedly captured a sophisticated Russian-made T-90S main battle tank.
The group posted the image of T-90 claiming it was captured on June 9 in battles around the Mallah Farms in Northern Aleppo. The report says this T-90 had been used by the Syrian Arab Armys Tiger Forces before it was captured by al-Zenki Movement units.

I wouldn’t stand too close to that tank if I was them.
I was immediately thinking the same thing. That tank should be a magnet for all kinds of decisive and overwhelming munitions.
Since it was one the Russians gave to Syria, it’s probably not their best T-90 - certainly not their best electronics.
And if the Russians are to be believed, they will soon start selling off their older tanks anyway as the Armata gets into production.
at least it was actually “captured” and it wasn’t given away like o’zero habitually does
Offer them three goats and a camel, and it’s probably ours.
If so, they probably learned their lesson from the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. When the Israelis crossed the Suez Canal, they found a still-running top of the line Russian anti-aircraft radar command post. The Israelis turned it over to us, probably after wringing it dry of any secrets.
