I remember in Hartford meeting Mr. Hockey very briefly, in the front office for the then Hartford Whalers.
1978—Bill Rasmussen fired by Whalers
and Gordie Howe enterprises.He and his
son Scott would quickly go on to found
what they originally intended to be
a regional cable-satellite network. It
winds up being ESPN (as told in book
