The Jewish Sages say that the Bible is a tapestry, so things can apply to more than one situation. When you have a complete sentence that says exactly who is being talked about, then whether or not it is embedded in “messianic scripture” is irrelevant. This verse is about “servants of the LORD” irrespective of their genealogy.
