Donald J. Trump Statement Regarding Trump University
Donald J. Trump ^ | 6-7-2016 | Donald J. Trump

It is unfortunate that my comments have been misconstrued as a categorical attack against people of Mexican heritage. I am friends with and employ thousands of people of Mexican and Hispanic descent. The American justice system relies on fair and impartial judges. All judges should be held to that standard. I do not feel that one’s heritage makes them incapable of being impartial, but, based on the rulings that I have received in the Trump University civil case, I feel justified in questioning whether I am receiving a fair trial.

Over the past few weeks, I have watched as the media has reported one inaccuracy after another concerning the ongoing litigation involving Trump University. There are several important facts the public should know and that the media has failed to report.

Throughout the litigation my attorneys have continually demonstrated that students who participated in Trump University were provided a substantive, valuable education based upon a curriculum developed by professors from Northwestern University, Columbia Business School, Stanford University and other respected institutions. And, the response from students was overwhelming. Over a five year period, more than 10,000 paying students filled out surveys giving the courses high marks and expressing their overwhelming satisfaction with Trump University’s programs. For example:

Fox has been pounding Trump all day saying he told supporters to attack the judge. I captured this video from a supporter this morning contradicting the narrative all media are running with right now:

Next statement from Trump should be ... “now, let’s talk about Laureate University”.

If he does NOT mention La Raza in his statement then he is either not fully informed or he is missing an opportunity or BOTH.

There are real good reasons for that.

Due to what I believe are unfair and mistaken rulings in this case and the Judge’s reported associations with certain professional organizations, questions were raised regarding the Obama appointed Judge’s impartiality. It is a fair question. I hope it is not the case.

While this lawsuit should have been dismissed, it is now scheduled for trial in November. I do not intend to comment on this matter any further. With all of the thousands of people who have given the courses such high marks and accolades, we will win this case!

The problem is that many of the surveys on his 98percent site are not particularly positive.

One of the objectives The Donald seems to be pursuing, has nothing whatsoever to do with Trump University or the merits of the case. This has been a thrust at Political Correctness, in that it is considered “bad manners” and “gauche” to bring up the ethnicity of the obviously prejudiced judge sitting on this civil dispute, a judge that keeps the case alive, though it could have been settled years ago on summary judgment. Obvious harassment. Nobody harasses The Donald, except at their own peril.

Certainly, the vast majority of persons of Hispanic ethnicity (which itself is a kind of generalized and poorly defined class of people) would have little or nothing to do with the particular set of prejudices and bias that Gonzalo Curiel brings to the bench. He is sharply partisan in his associations, both with the various facets of the La Raza organizations, and with the obvious taint of his connections with the Clinton Crime Family Syndicate.

The judge has allowed his Mexican heritage to interfere with his ability to be impartial.

And in fact he did cover it and he did it perfectly, as everyone alive understands the clear conflicts in regards to this judge.

"Due to what I believe are unfair and mistaken rulings in this case and the Judge’s reported associations with certain professional organizations, questions were raised regarding the Obama appointed Judge’s impartiality".

He intentionally did not use the same words as you did in your post. It was perfect.

It's the same reason why Trump does not use words like, "Tyranny, betrayers, dictatorship etc. He instead uses terms like, "Stupid, inept and unqualified" to describe the corrupt disciples of deceit in D.C.

“favors the return of California and Arizona and Texas to Mexico”

Well, I’m willing to compromise! They can have California! After they wreck it, we can buy it back for fractions of pennies even on an inflated US dollar.

These morons have their selves convinced that had they had California, they would have conceived places like Silicon Valley and they’d all be filthy rich.

In reality, most of California would look like most of Mexico. You’d have a couple of nice areas, but most of it would be run down and desolate thanks to corruption that makes our’s here in the States look petty in comparison.

Nonsense. I don't know what you think you're looking at, but the aggregate approval rating for Trump University is quite high, and certainly demonstrates that there was no widespread dissatisfaction therewith.

We're talking about 10,000 students here. Of course, there will be some negative responses, but, indeed, most businesses would be delighted to establish a track record as positive as what Trump University did.

No organization is perfect, but there's very little evidence of any significant issues with Trump University, based on all the available information.

This whole lawsuit is an absolute phony nothingburger, and most Americans will see it as such. It's merely a petty Left Wing sideshow which will have little or no effect on Trump's campaign.

Jeopardizing National security, on the other hand, and making millions giving secret speeches to bankers, and letting U.S. ambassadors get needlessly murdered?

Now those are things that the American People are going to look down on.

Vote Trump!

I’d rather just hand people like you over to Mexico. You sound exactly like the a typical La Raza moron.

Trump should have gotten this new bombshell out there in his statement.
Hopefully it will circulate widely. In addition to the La Raza stuff, another group in which judge is a life member started a nationwide boycott of Trump businesses back in July, 2015. WHY is this judge still a member and still on the case? This news broke just last night.

-—I can’t help but think that the GOP Establishment is behind all of this turbulence surrounding a civil case.-—

No, don’t think so...

Trump simply needs to get higher up on his political learning curve and watch what he is saying and stop making statements off the cuff that are easy to be misconstrued...

He could have simply talked about the judges ties to LaRaza and left the Mexican reference out...

that’s red meat for the left...

he is Giving his enemies ammo to try and take him down...

“I’d rather just hand people like you over to Mexico. You sound exactly like the a typical La Raza moron.”

Come on ... Giving away CA was a joke. I should have indicated that :-).

Still, could we maybe split the difference and give them only the coastal region from San Francisco down to LA? :-P. We’d get it all back anyway w/o millions of illegals in a few short years.

As for my comments on what La Raza thinks (*they* would have created Silicon Valley had they owned the state), that’s 100% true. They’re not unlike the Palestinians that think that they’d be as rich as Isreal had they still “owned” that land. Their followers are *that* delusional. Their leaders know better, but they just want the power.

I think that is way too subtle and done in a way the media has and will continue to ignore. The masses will never hear the words La Raza or boycott of Trump businesses. Unless he does it explicitly, the story will not get out. Also, since he says he will have nothing further to say, he will be hounded by the media like there is nothing else to talk about but his “racism.” I hope his strategy is the right one.

Well sure, give Mexico the coastal plains of CA, the most prized real-estate, with the best world class year around climate and some of the biggest harbors in the entire country.

You're brilliant slick.
