Obama’s meddling in Egypt’s politics and attempts to install the hateful and destructive Muslim Brotherhood have made the USA an enemy for Egypt’s present leaders.
They US may continue to buy some influence with aid, but Egypt will not (and should not) trust the US Government - certainly not one lead by Obama or Clinton.
So in effect.... we give Egypt at least $2bn a year to
keep them as our friends, then they make this $2bn deal.... in effect we are buying them from the Russians for Egypt.
