Having someone who actually knows how the government works is necessary for the ticket to have any kind of chance.

That's why Newt's experience and credentials would serve Trump best as his Chief of Staff. That position is one of the most powerful positions next to the Presidnet in terms of informing, mentoring and coaching.

As for VP, does anyone here actually want another old gray beard like Gingrich or Huckabee as Trump's VP? Newt would be ready for assisted living at the end of his second term if he were Trump's successor.

People need to think outside the box.
