Donald Trump is wasting precious time.
By now, Republican Party critics argue, the party's presumptive presidential nominee was supposed to have stationed senior staff in battleground states, moderated his fiery message to attract new supporters and begun raking in big money.
Instead, he's spending more time right now picking fights and settling scores than delivering a message that might help draw voters.

Yes, this “esteemed colleague/my friend” garbage is what is wrong. It would be like in the 1850s calling a slaveowner “my friend” when you’re trying to eradicate slavery, or calling a Nazi in the 1940s “my friend.”
There is a place for political friendship, but it assumes both parties have the same GENERAL and OVERALL outlook, namely that the US is the best place on earth as currently constituted; that yes we can always improve; but any attempt to destroy the US as currently constituted is nothing less than treason. Once we agree on that, we can have policy differences as to how to improve the “little things” that still divide us.
