I agree.
There is no apathy, laziness, incompetence or stupidity when it comes to protecting the GOP Establishment/status quo. Do you recall the Mississippi run-off between conservative Chris McDaniel and Establishment hack Thad Cochran? The GOP was energetic, focussed, extraordinarily effective, and above all corrupt.
Anything that challenges the status quo makes the GOP *look* disengaged. But try to unseat a DC Cartel member with a conservative, and you’ve never seen such a disciplined, motivated, hyper-active and effective response.
