Don’t you remember — she claimed that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary which was interesting since she was born in 1946 and Sir Edmund was an obscure beekeeper whom no one had heard of outside Queenstown, NZ until he climbed Mount Everest in 1953. Perhaps Hillary didn’t have a name for seven years until someone worthy of the honor presented himself on the world stage.
