The lady next to me on a plane, last week, was from Hillsborough. During our polite conversation she kept bringing up the effects of climate change. She seemed convinced that Oregon was being overrun by "climate refugees."

I chose not to engage her on those topics because I am not a mental health professional.

hoax, fraud, prank, urban legend and tall tales.

Hint, a fraud is about money, a hoax is a wide spread public deception. Climate change could be considered a hoax because of its widespread public nature even though it is a fraud because the deception is for money.
