We have no argument re the popularity and wealth of Swift vs. the DCs, and I see that you now recognize that the DCs got very wealthy as a result of their work with the DCs, be it publishing, touring, record sales, whatever. I guess I’m not the dim bulb you suggested I was after all.
I doubt I’d pay to see either of them perform, Taylor is too bubblegum for my tastes, and while I do enjoy the instrumentation of the DCs (I play guitar, mandolin, and a bit of banjo), their baggage is too much.
Give me tix to a 500 seat venue, I’ll pass on the 20k places. Unless it’s merlefest, floydfest or any of the other festivals where the likes of Sam Bush play - just for one example.
