Ortho makes the foamy, sticky variety. That said, there’s little doubt that the “protestors” are just about to step over the line into murder. Retribution will be savage and bloody once it starts.

I believe in retribution.

Using wasp spray on a human is an off label use in violation of EPA regulations. IE: its a poison( neuro toxin). Using it as an improvised weapon while somewhat effective opens you up legally to lawsuits.

Have a plan and think it through as in being able to articulate to LE as to why you used it as you did. I would think a paper bag with a receipt showing you bought it recently would help you. This is presupposing you hung around after using it. Just saying. Also wasp spray is not as effective as pepper spray. Bear spray is a better alternative than wasp spray

No, just a good lawyer, lots of money for legal fees, and the desire to end up in a criminal proceeding as the defendant.

Using a known, regulated substance such as pepper spray in self defense when necessary is defensible.

Using a toxic chemical you intentionally brought with you to some event to spray on someone takes away or severely damages the legitimacy of your claim of self defense.

The only time using wasp spray, or some other similar weapon would be legally defensible would be situations where you had no other choice, or it was the only thing available and the circumstances warranted use of deadly force. So, for example, if you happened to be working in your garage and someone attacked you, and you grabbed the first spray can you could reach to defend yourself, then the fact that you happened to end up spraying the assailant with wasp spray would not necessarily be a negative factor.

No but you can be sued by the perp “victim” because it is agains the law to use that product in a manner inconsistent with its stated purpose. You know they will find a shyster to take their case. If nothing else the aclu.

If we are in shtf scenario courts are broken. Now we are not.
