She moved to Great Britian in the mid-60s and received British citizenship.

***************

Do you have a link to where she had actual England citizenship? I know she
and her husband went to England, got divorced and had a child that died
about 5 months after birth and was buried in England. She gave that
child the last name of Wilson which was her exhusband’s last name but he
denies it is his child. After coming back to the states she met Rafael Cruz
and wound up in Canada where Edward was born.

The Cruz family history is one mess to try to unravel.

“The Cruz family history is one mess to try to unravel.”

Such a mess, that maybe we’d be better off forgetting about Cruz.

Remember the old saying: the graveyards are full of indispensable men.

The founders, when they created the natural born citizen requirement, realized it would exclude many fine and capable men. Yet, they decided it was better to be safe than sorry.

Ted Cruz is NOT indispensable. Our country will get along fine without him. Given the controversy over his birth, maybe we’d be better off passing on Ted, rather than risk watering down the natural born citizen clause.
