Muhammad Ali has been placed on life support — and his family fears that it “likely won’t be long until he passes away,” according to a report. The boxing legend was hospitalized in Scottsdale, Ariz., for a respiratory issue on Thursday and insiders tell Radar Online that his loved ones are now rushing to his side because it appears his condition has worsened. “He needs every bit of fight he’s got left to survive,” a source told the website. “Doctors are telling the family that it likely won’t be long until he passes away.”

I always liked Ali too. Huge sports figure and celeb when I was a teen in the ‘60s. He made light of The Beatles when they came to visit him in 1964.

BURN IN HELL Draft dodger!

Respect the fact that he stayed and faced the consequences of his refusal rather than relocate flee to Canada like so many pasty-faced white peace creeps did.

What do Muhammad Ali, Bill Clinton, Bill O’Reily, and Donald Trump all have in common?

On the other side, there is this....

“No, I am not going 10,000 miles to help murder, kill, and burn other people to simply help continue the domination of white slave masters over dark people the world over. This is the day and age when such evil injustice must come to an end.”

“Why should they ask me to put on a uniform and go ten thousand miles from home and drop bombs and bullets on brown people in Vietnam while so-called Negro people in Louisville are treated like dogs and denied simple human rights?”

“My enemy is the white people, not the Viet Cong ... You’re my opposer when I want freedom. You’re my opposer when I want justice. You’re my opposer when I want equality. You won’t even stand up for me in America because of my religious beliefs, and you want me to go somewhere and fight, when you won’t even stand up for my religious beliefs at home.”

That’d make for a great skit on SNL. OR South Park. OR as Phase One on the way down the elevator to Hades ;-)

“Cassius Clay”, not Mad Mo Ali.

He’s a chickens**t draft dodging muslim. He’s no American or hero of any kind.

Ali also referred to Joe Frazier as a “Gorilla”. Can you imagine today if someone referred to any black man as a “Gorilla”.

Joe Frazier was a very classy person. As is George Foreman, who after the controversy surrounding the Black Power salutes on the podium the day before, made a point to carry a US Flag, when he won his Gold Medal in 1968.

Very interesting Billboard. You learn something everyday. Might have come in handy for McCain or Romney vs. O’Nero.

He was a mixed bag. At times I liked him, but I found some of his actions and statements to be objectionable.

I am very sorry that he is so ill.

I agree he was a great fighter and he lived a good life. Malcolm X got ahold of Ali and was able to exert too much influence on him for awhile.
