As a common none doctor speaking here Judy...every time my son was sick I would look up at the ceiling as if something was there and see if he could do the same. I was always watchful to see if he could and I was prepared to rush him to the hospital if he couldn’t. It was my way of checking for meningitis. Not sure if I was on track or not but a friend told me to do this.
I got my chicken pox in the third grade at Easter. The weather was beautiful and I whined to go out and play with all the other kids.

I used to do that with the kids as well. He’s old enough now to self-test, but will remind him.
