Where does it say that she must cooperate? How is a series of non-answers going to hurt her?
Not legally but it is political ammunition for Trump.
People will think that she has something to hide (and she probably does have something to hide).
Also, in most instances it isn’t the original crime that brings a person down but the lying (perjury) to cover it up. Best to abstain but saying I don’t remember.
The law requires that she cooperate. The law requires that she answer fully and truthfully.
But a lot of people just don’t care about the law when it comes to themselves.
That’s one reason our legal system is a farce.
The law does including documents she signed as a condition of employment as a high ranking government official
Cheryl Mills job was the highest ranking aide to the Secretary of State of the United States.
She broke the law executing her job and is now trying to cover it up.
I mean, really- its pretty unprecedented for government officials to plead the 5 th in FOIA action as many of Mills colleagues have done.
This is a criminal cover up at this point and mills is trying to avoid pleading the fifth
Mills behavior is so extreme the Judge should have allowed the release of the video. Mills is a Stanford University Law School grad and reputed to be an exceptionally sharp lawyer and an exceedingly brilliant intellect in general.
The public deserves to see the video for themselves to allow us to make our own determination if Mills’ 187+ lapses in memory are credible or whether she is being intentionally evasive and dishonest
You are sworn under oath at a deposition. You promise to tell the truth, the whole truth... etc., etc., etc. Saying “I don’t know” and/or “I don’t remember” and all variations thereof, constitutes lying under oath when repeated 189x.
