“He was later identified” - from the blood spatter?
PD had his DNA? There’s a story.
What caused the conflict in the first place? There’s another story.
I wonder if he left enough to do drug/alcohol tests -- the first explanation for this behavior that comes to mind is that he was drunk or high.
