Canadian musicians The Weeknd and Belly decided Wednesday that protesting Donald Trump was more important than publicity.
The duo was set to perform Bellys hit Might Not, a song about excess and drawbacks, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! but balked at the idea of sharing the studio with GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump. Belly, who is Muslim, said in a statement to the Associated Press that Trumps proposed ban on Muslim immigration could potentially limit his ability to perform in America.
For me, being Muslim and being somebody that appreciates my access here in America, I love the fact that Im able to be here, Belly said. To play my part in this business is a privilege and a beautiful thing. The fact that I could lose that ability through the actions of someone such as Donald Trump isnt right to me. At all.

I suspect Donald Trump will be around long after Belly’s celebrity weekend is over.
All he does is show he is an idiot who doesn’t understand what immigration means.

It’s a shame he doesn’t have enough courage to stand up to his fellow Muslims and tell them to stop giving the rest of them a bad name. Unless, of course, he shares their anti-western jihad loving sympathies.
