Here we have Obama overstepping his authority by forcing transgender rules on all the public schools in the country, and you want Trump to act in a similar fashion?

The Constitution forbids states from passing any law impairing the obligation of contracts (Act. I, Sec. 10). I'm sure if Congress tried to do that at the federal level, the courts would rule it unconstitutional. But it would be OK for a President to do so? (Tenure is a contract--the tenured person has job security barring serious offenses.)

Most professors are liberals, but 100% of administrators are (other than at a few places like Hillsdale College). Without tenure the administration has total control and conservative professors would be quickly weeded out.
