Anyone know how simple or complicated treatment of the disease is? Saw nothing about that in the article, only that the medical systems had broken down in the war zone.
My question too. Going to research it a bit more. Looks as if the people pictured who have it are having gentian violet applied to it. I didn’t think that was really used much anymore except for veterinary purposes, but it may be the only thing they have to treat it there.
