I have a couple of “his” books and they are pretty good; he had a lot of help from others getting them ready for publication. Hawking is also now a global warming alarmist. His shocking appearance makes him look like his mental capacity is severely limited, but he still knows which side of the pop science toast his bread is buttered on. He has morphed into more weird looking Bill Nye the science guy at this point than respected physicist. His area of expertise is very narrow and his opinion on Trump is likely less informed than that of your garden variety leftist movie star.
