...that means I don’t go to South Carolina...

That state's approach to "reciprocity" has always puzzled me, especially when compared to the rest of the South. Fortunately, I haven't had to make the choice you have since my travels haven't taken me there since out-processing from the Army at Ft. Jackson in 1981.

Hopefully one day, our so-called government “representatives” will put forward a mandate that all states “shall comply” with a concealed carry reciprocity law.

Agreed. WTH is wrong with SC and reciprocity. Flew into MD so no ccw. Of course driving through MD is just as bad with their fascist anti gun laws. If I was home I would not be allowed to ccw to Memorial Day events at Ft Logan as it is federali property. Fortunately most states have reciprocity with CO
