Farmland seizures did not happen in Zimbabwe because of a severe drought.

This has been going on since the roll back on colonialism, decades now.

Any return of land to native governments or indigenous peoples always fails.

But the narrative is that it never fail because of the indigenous people.

Therefore, it is always drought ... Always.

Drought in Africa is the fall back position when Africans fail. It's always accompanied by requests for aid from the evil former colonialists.

This is an old trick. No one takes it seriously.

The people who get the farms aren’t “indigenous”. In both Zimbabwe and RSA, they are usually the higher ups in the government and their family members; most of who did NOT originate there at all and who came in to the areas much later than the whites did.
