More to the point on the hacking attempts, the testimony referenced two, and the response was to turn the server off for a few minutes. Without reporting it to anyone. With State Department data on it. To call that “inadequate” is an understatement approaching ridicule.
Bill, thanks for noticing that little detail. I screamed when I read that.
A hacker can also put the victim in a "house of mirrors", so to speak, and make it appear as if there's no compromise whatsoever.
Until the computer is unplugged from the network, re-booted into a clean OS, and then forensically examined, there's might not be any way to detect the hack.
Indeed, a real sharp hacker could even restore things to their former state, erase all compromised executables, and basically leave no trace whatsoever.
So any claim that Hillary makes regarding "hacks" that weren't successful is sheer speculation at this point.
And if one email is ever released by a third party, that will prove that Hillary's server was hacked and someone likely has all her emails, which is an obvious national security breach, as well as a risk for future extortion, etc.
This fiasco will remain an ongoing risk to U.S. national security well into the future, because we just don't know what's gotten out there, if anything.
Even setting aside the issues of conflict of interest, corruption, and criminality (all of wihcih there is mounting ecidence for), lives could easily have been lost as a result merely of Hillary's incompetence.
At this point, how any honest, patriotic Democrat could want Hillary to be President is just beyond me.
Once we hear some powerful Democrats saying that, then we'll know that Hillary's being abandoned.
We're witnessing quite a crash and burn here, folks. Potentially EPIC fail on Hillary's fault.
Vote Trump!
