Any semblance of good morality (let alone godliness) that exists today is NOT by any human merit, and to talk as if to insinuate that humans could manage to merit it, is to talk in falsehood. A huge dose of humility is in order, which sends us all to our knees before a gracious and merciful Lord who, however, will not excuse. Get it right unto an end goal of perfect holiness (with all the help needed by My Son)... or else go to hell. No other choice.
