Rick Wiley was hired on a short-term basis as a consultant until the campaign was running full steam. It is now doing better than ever, we are leading in the polls, and we have many exciting events ready to go, far ahead of schedule, while Hillary continues her long, boring quest against Bernie. We would like to thank Rick for helping us during this transition period.
Easy enough. His services no longer needed.

Not sure if he’s a Scott Walker man, but he is the one who destroyed Walker’s campaign. And quickly. He’s a GOPe man to the max. No self-awareness whatsoever.

He started building Florida Campaign from scratch. Ignoring old staff.
These people in the GOP are such arrogant dinosaurs. What an embarrassment, and continually clear why our party has failed so dramatically for almost two decades. The last guy with a clue was Gingrich. He just had other issues.

Wiley did not play well with the other children. Trump was told about it, and when Wiley did not shape up, he was told to ship out.
If the article is even remotely true, it made me even more impressed by how Trump values his loyal team members.
Rick was probably the source for leaking stories to the media from the Trump campaign

Was Wiley the one Trump hired a few months ago to work on organizing his California primary campaign, or am I thinking of someone else?

Walker was not Wiley’s first presidential campaign. He served as deputy national political director for Rudy Giuliani’s 2008 presidential bid; he former New York mayor is now backing Trump. Wiley also ran the RNC’s operations in the swing state of Wisconsin for then-President George W. Bush’s 2004 reelection.
He’s no John Galt.
