Because they aren’t patriots. They are court-followers seeking influence and prestige.
In the Revolution they would have been loyal to King George.
The left and right propagandists for open borders use terms like nativist to try to shame Americans into thinking we have no right to object to the importation of the workers for the jobs that can’t be exported. And don’t complain about paying for the priviledge of having our country invaded and colonized.
