While the EU elites will certainly use “far right” to describe such people, the FPÖ is not anything of the sort, though. They are leftist national socialists with the typical internationalist bent (founded by national socialist Anton Reinthaller); they favor the so-called “two-speed Europe” with a “hard euro” for the stronger countries of the continent and a “soft euro” for the weaker ones. They also like to rail against Jews and “Zionists”. They certainly will take advantage of ordinary Austrians that want to protect their borders, their very lives, and their native culture.
Patriotic Austrians who believe in their own right to choose how they live, and with whom they live, and who believe in borders, well, those are the “far right” …
