It would seem to me that Walls is the one “endangering” customers here, not Turner. Turner is trying to stop the endangering.

The failure of Target’s business will be a B-School case in several years. Our final exam in B-School was an analysis of Playboy Enterprises c. 1970. It was fun. The Target case will be even more fun.

Snopes isn’t actually lying, just telling the part of the story that makes Target look good.
The homeless man, named Walls, knifed a guy down the street, then ran into Target. The victims friends first CALLED THE POLICE, then followed him in, Walls pulled the knife on one of them, chasing him around the store while trying to stab him, then grabbed the girl.
They tried to talk him down, but he started to stab the girl so they THEN picked up the bat and stopped him.
By then the police had arrived and joined the battle with pepper gas. One cop was also hurt by the perp.
Would be nice to be called to jury duty on any counter suit against Target. I’d like to see the name changed from Target to Turner
Women who allow their daughters in Target bathrooms and dressing rooms should be investigated for child abuse.
A judge with his head on straight would award the victim millions—to be paid immediately-—and then throw out the lawsuit against the hero & award him millions for his heroic actions—also to be paid by Target immediately.
By the end of 2016, Target will be on the ash heap with buggy whip companies in every town.
If there are any smart people in control at Target, they will talk Target out of this lawsuit.
It has been a long time since I have seen a corporation do something so stupid. It will severely cost them if they go forward with the suit.
Another reason not to shop there.
