The Lee Amendment to defund President Obama’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) regulation failed in the Senate yesterday because not enough Republicans backed it. The Amendment was tabled by a vote of 60-37.
Jeremy Carl aptly describes this vote as a defeat for conservatism, community control, and common sense. It is a victory, as Carl says, for turning the federal government into a National Zoning board, forcing high density housing on unwilling cities and towns, and letting bureaucrats decide the racial, ethnic and income balance of local communities.

I was doing another thing while reading this, so I thought Lee was for putting Barky’s bill in effect, but after reading it again, seen that I made a mistake, however, with that said, the ONLY reason Lee did what he did is he is up for re election in Utah this year, of course he is going to be doing and saying things to make us like him, he does this all the time, along with all the others when they want to be re elected, well this time, he DOES NOT get my vote!!!

Mike Lee endorsed Cruz. He is “not with Trump”. He is bad. Things he sponsors are bad.
Lee disparaged the presumptive nominee LAST WEEK. Lee is knee deep in this sentencing “reform” nonsense.
Every knee jerk outburst such as yours from a loser Cruzer just reaffirms my opinion to never support Ted Cruz again. Mike Lee did not just endorse Cruz. He has been vocal in the Romney led Mormon mafia hits on Trump and he should be condemned for it.
Vote for Trump.
Leave the rest of the ballot blank.

When patriots elect Trump, they also need to elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for America, but also put a stop to unconstitutional federal government taxation and overreach as evidence by unconstitutional federal funding for intrastate housing.

Note the such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
And speaking of justices, the states need to amend the Constitution so that state legislatures, not the Senate, approves justices nominated by the president.
