Family court, no kidding. My buddy was getting screwed over by his lying shrew wife. He asked me if I would be a witness to an event she completely miss categorized, being drunk verses being ill. My testimony was never taken into consideration albeit I was an expert in determining when someone is a drunk. When she left the court, she left him with nothing, except child support payments, and walked out with her tat boy friend and multi time convict lover.

Ever heard the comment that married women out live their husbands and ask why is that? The answer if the guy dies because he want to.

Well its like the old joke..

Why do divorces cost so much?

They are worth it.

Seriously, I can go on about what I feel are some stupid things my ex has done since we split, but I won’t go there, no point... My divorce was not bad by divorce standards, but the process itself, is horrific. Its not designed to be rational or reasonable. I literally had to spend 2-3 years fighting with someone over NOTHING... not a damned thing, yet it still took years to get resolved and 10’s of thousands of dollars.... Now I blame it on the system itself, and the fact she hired a completely incompetent lawyer as well... who went out of his way to try to create confrontation and was completely inept as well. Had I been a true jackass I could have just reamed her on a lot of things.... he was completely clueless and I could have taken complete advantage... however, I didn’t.... but the biggest problem with him was, not so much that he was inept legally which he was.. Just so you have context, my father is a lawyer, and he went to law school when I was about 8, so I have been around lawyers my entire life, I can pretty quickly tell if a lawyer was in the bottom of his class when I meet them, and this guy was, no doubt. Anyway, beyond his legal ineptitude, the biggest issue with him was he didn’t prepare her in any way to the reality of things and help push her into a move on direction... So every time something would come up, I’d get the brunt of it, when it wasn’t me trying to screw her, but just the natural course of the process..... so I was treated as though I was taking advantage when in fact I was bending over backwards not to... but because he was inept she always felt like she was being blindsided, and of course he played it to her, like I was trying to take advantage/play games.

Anyway, enough of that... The reality is because of this entire situation, as I said a sad but amicable thing turned into a complete poison of the relationship. I never expected to be friends with my ex after the divorce, but I literally mentally want as little interaction as I can manage at this point.... The relationship even at a minor level was poisoned to the point that I doubt any interaction beyond those I must absolutely endure will ever occur.... And that’s sad and it was unnecessary.
