Johnson is going to win under 1% of the vote and he won’t carry a single state.

Basically, but he got .99% last time, so getting .01% more won't be much of a hurdle.
The LP's high water mark was 1.07% when Koch and Ed Clark ran against Reagan in 1980.
With Koch's money and the general discontent, they could do better this time.
