I own a tool and die business, there is good money to be made for specialty machined parts for all sorts of antiques. Not enough to do it exclusively, but between jobs its good cash money.
I used to work where I had a complete machine shop, breaks, tubing benders, water jet, and welders. The boss loved machinery. Word got around that we would make one off parts. I got to make some very cool stuff.
