The people who want to see Trump’s tax returns aren’t going to vote for him anyhow. And the rest of us don’t give a damn what’s in them
He should NOT release them.

In a six foot high stack of income tax returns, there is bound to be SOMETHING that political foes could pick apart.
What I'm interested in is this: Did he pay the taxes he owes? Given that he's been audited for 15 straight years, my belief is that he did.
I'm not interested in other details.

...we all know now that the IRS is part of the thug wing of the Democrat party.True.
AND I suspect - - from reporting already out there - - that the IRS has leaked Trump's information to Romney, the MSM, Democrats - maybe even to the haters at the State Department and National Review.
Trump doesn't owe those people anything. Nothing - not even the time of day.
Trump shouldn't release his taxes. People who believe in Trump will rejoice in his giving the finger to the haters in the IRS, Democrat Party and the GOP Establishment. Let 'em beg...

How about he releases his tax returns when Hillary releases her health records?

Or her tax returns...

why should Trump allow the IRS free consulting by releasing his returns before the audit is complete? You have every leftist attorney looking at the and giving opinions. Just shut up about the tax returns, heck I wanna see Obama’s high school, college and scholarship/grant records!

What I have said for months. In an audit situation you do not give the IRS any reason to re-think its position.

What does the current law call for?
Does Trump-—OR ANYONE—have to open up their tax returns?
OR do they only have to submit a balance sheet???
Anyone’s taxes/income can change dramatically from year to year. Look at athletes-—high years, then next to nothing. Same thing for entertainers.
ONE year doesn’t show a thing.
All this yapping from people that refuse to demand the text of speeches the Clintons have been giving behind closed doors for millions of dollars.
Neither one would get a penny from me for all the speeches they have ever given.

Where are Obama’s health records? How about his school records....??
To: ridesthemiles
Financial disclosure reports are required by the FEC and Trump has made them all.
To my knowledge, that is all that is required.

All this yapping ...from the media that ignored Obama's refusal to release any information

Trump has stated he has been audited by the IRS for the past 15 years.

Perhaps there are two reasons these 'honest men' wish to cast their eyes on these returns... your reason and the fact that they, too, would like some pointers on how they might find a few tips on how they could get by with paying less in taxes than they do at this time. Free advise from TRiUMPh with no one being the wiser.

Without the tax returns, we don’t know what anyone is actually paying.
If the law said that no business with employees has to pay income tax - corporate income tax? individual income tax by the proprietor? - that would certainly be different.
