Fifteen years into the Bolivarian revolution, Venezuela is facing dire food shortages.
Among the many stupidities that socialism promotes is the idea that by imposing price controls and forbidding profits, government can make food both cheap and widely available.
The opposite is true, and Venezuela proves the rule.

Latino culture seems to be one of constant experimentation with collectivism, socialism and fascism. I hope they enjoy it. At least maybe they’ve tired themselves out for a while now and they also provide an excellent negative example to the rest of the world.

I know they caused this horror themselves by going leftist, but some country should step up and send in food with the message to stop playing with Marx.

I hope that the Bernie Sanders' supporters (and Bernie Sanders himself) are aware of this dimension of socialism!
Of course they will say that the Swedish version is better. But they are too disordered to know the difference, that is, to make a difference.
