He could have been allowed to explain it was only hyperbole. Unless it wasn’t, in which case the school has made its position clear. In an age suffering from lack of Christian faith, surely the first thing we do can’t be to torpedo it worse.

What has actually happened is that one of the final remaining fig leaves of America has been attacked. It’s sad that it wasn’t considered a tragedy decades ago when Christians started acting like the world in affairs marital (and otherwise).

For 7½ years Obama has been setting the stage for a final mad dash to complete as much of his “Fundamental Transformation” as possible.
