Air travel is way down from peak load years when the TSA had no problem keeping pace.
This is a deliberate slow down by the Obama Admin

I see it as a test. The government wants to see how far they can push the American traveler and find out how much he will put up with. Then it will propose a solution that will seem fine in light of what's happened, even though had this solution been proposed a few weeks ago it would have been rejected. "Just stop the lines! I don't care!"
If fliers don't vote with their wallets, expect the next step to be even worse. Perhaps the highways.
